Friday, November 06, 2009: Maharashtra State Police stunned Mumbai Customs 3-2 while R.S.F too had to slogged hard to get over gritty Sports Authority of India ( SAI ) by 4-3 margin. In the ongoing MHA Super league matches played at the MHA Mahindra Stadium, Churchgate.

M.S.Police the cellar side who have garned 7 points from 8 matches played so far had an advantage over fancied side Customs today minus bench strength and without their six regular players. In the another Super League match RCF and SAI clash turned out to be thriller at one stage RCF were leading by 3-0 but thereafter SAI took the baton in their hand and not only nullified the lead but came close to win both having youngsters in their ranks displayed defined field hockey. RCF got the going Munish Rana fired from the ‘D’ top which deceived the SAI keeper, five minutes later Vikram Yadav scored from close range, 7th minutes later once Vikram Yadav repeated the same feat ( back to back efforts ) 3-0. However RCF ‘s day was saved by Munish Rana who opened the scoring also scored the decisive goal in the dead end to his side RCF on the winning path plucking 3 crucial points.
