India-China in the Asia Cup final (11/6/2009)

Leading 1-0 at half time, India defeated Korea 3-2 to enter the final of the Women's Asia Cup. India finished fourth in the last edition, before that in 2004 it was the winner.

Jasjeet Kaur scored scored a brace and her village-mate Rani Ramphal added the third goal for India's stupendous victory.

Earlier, China defeated Japan 1-0 in the first semifinal in the 7th Women's Asia Cupand thus qualified for the 2010 World Cup.
