Wins for PNB, IOC, Namdharis & AI in Senior Nehru (11/19/2009)

On 18th November, 46th jindal steel nehru hockey tournament saw 4 matches.

In the first one, PNB beat Bengal XI 2-1. Rizuddin took lead for Bengal but PNB came back well with a goal each from Lakhwinder Singh & Jalwinder Singh that provided them crucial points.

In the next match, IOC thrashed Indian Navy 6-1. Didar Singh hit a 'four' while Arjun Anthil & Kamlesh netted once each. A.K. Kiro scored the lone goal for the Navy team.

Namdhari XI beat B.S.F. 4-0 in the third match. Malak Singh scored twice while Dilbag Singh & Gurmail Singh scored once each.

In the last one, Air India beat SAI XI 1-0. M.K. Mudappa scored the only goal of the match in the 5th minute.

On 19th November, 3 matches will be played. BPCL will take on P&S Bank, ONGC will fight Army XI while Namdhari XI will play against IOC.
