Tata Power beat Khalsa Academy (12/3/2009)

Wednesday, December 02, 2009: Tata Power Co. overcome youthful Khalsa Hockey Academy ( Matunga ) by 2-0 after playing out goalless first session of play time in the MHA third division league tie played at the MHA Mahindra Stadium, Churchgate.

Khalsa H.A did show superb display against their much senior rivals Tata Power but they missed hosts of chances upfront, however Tata Power kept their cools and cashed the advantage immediately after Lemon break Tata power Co went up in lead 34th minutes through a stroke conversion by C.P.Appanna ( 1-0 ) , 4 minutes later C.J.Roberts doubled the lead by shooting in from close range a corss from the axis by Raju Magar ( 2-0)

Tomorrow, Gr.Mumbai Police will take on F United in senior division.
