News Update:

FIH president Leondro Negre said that the host India will have to miss their home World Cup if Hockey India elections are not held by the end of January.

Leondro Negre: ""I have lot of faith in Sports Minister M S Gill and he has assured me that job will be done. I hope India will prepare in a fantastic way for the World Cup."

Hockey India President Matoo said that Sandeep Singh will be in the team for the Champions Challenge, he is fit to play.

Mattoo also said the captaincy issue will be decided shortly

Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) joins the Hero Honda World Cup bandwagon. They will be the presenting partner.
