Thursday, November 26, 2009: Khalsa College Sports Association (Matunga) { Khalsa CSA} overcame Grass Root Academy ‘A’ by 2-0 margin in the MHA first division league match played at the Mahindra Stadium, Churchgate.

Khalsa CSA & Grass Root Academy ‘A’ both having youngsters in their ranks dished out a defined field hockey but both sides missing ample chances up front. In this clash of equally balanced sides both contested keenly however Khalsa CSA found the initiative twice in each half of the play time through penalty corner indirect conversion by Rohan Mahatre ( 23rd minutes ) and Maninder Singh Jr ( 36th minutes ) Khalsa CSA & Grass Root Academy both earned five penalty corners, Khalsa converted two p.c out of five.
