Indian girls reach semis

Indian girls blanked Thailand 10-0 to book a semifinal berth in the under-18 Asia Cup hockey in Shanghai on Thursday. The team will now play Korea in the last four stage match. Anupa Barla scored three goals for the winners while Jamila Bano sounded the board twice. India defeated Sril Lanka 20-0 and Drew Chaina 2-2 in the other two matches played earlier in the pool.
