India defeated hosts Chile 3-0 in the ongoing 4-Nation tournament in Chile. The match was played on Tuesday night.

Besides India, Chile, Italy and Argentna are in the fray.

Surinder Kaur leads Indian challenge, with MK Kaushik as the chief coach.

Due to some visa and other problems, four girls of the team left India only on Tuesday, and it is not known whether they could join the team for the encounter against the hosts.

Indian team will go to Argentina from here to play a Test series there
