Saturday, December 05, 2009: Freunds Sports Club ( Bandra ) stunned Reserve Bank of India by 3-2 score in the second division league match played at the MHA Mahindra Stadium, Churchgate.

RBI were leading by 2-1 margin during breather time. RBI shot up to lead in the 10 minutes of the play time Mohd.Shams slammed into the wooden cage from close quarters a short cross by Prem Singh inside the semi circle 1-0 four minutes later the gritty Freunds S/C equalized through a direct penalty corner conversion by their defender Imran Khan ( 1-1). However RBI went up once again Prem Singh scooped into the nets from close range cross by Shanta Kumar which deflected in by Freunds S/C defender in the 28th minutes (2-1)

After resumption Freunds S/C came up with much improvised tactics which enabled them to over power seasoned RBI. Harmeet Singh ( 42nd minutes ) and Jonathan D’Souza ( 58th minutes) were the goal scorers for winners.
