Day of draws in Junior Nehru Tournament (11/4/2009)

Today, in the 38th ATS Nehru Junior hockey tournament, three matches were played.

In the 1st one, N.C.C. (A) drew Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Jarkhar, Ludhiana 2-2. Md. Kavesh Warsi took lead for N.C.C. in the first half, which was nullified by Gagandeep Singh of Ludhiana. Prashik got N.C.C.'s 2nd goal in the 2nd half, which was again neutralized by Gagandeep.

In the 2nd match, GYAN DEEP HINDI HIGH SCHOOL, AHMEDABAD mauled St. John High School, Baramulla 8-0. Md. Aamir scored a hat-trick, Unial & Shailash Paswan contributed with 2 goals each and Ishan scored once to get his team a huge win.

Last match saw a 3-3 draw between Govt. Boys Hr. Sec. School, Jashpur Nagar, Distt. Jashpur and Govt. High Sec. School, Kerala. Breej Minz, Ashwin Tirkey & Jerald Kujur scored for Jashpur while Sarabin, Vivek & Shuin scored a piece each for Kerala.
