Danish Mujtaba to train in Australia (3/15/2011)

Two Indian hockey players and a coach will be reaching Australia in a couple days to undergo training at the Australian Institute of Sports.

Commonwealth Games silver medalist Danish Mujtaba and Shahbad's women hockey star Joydeep Kaur will be accompanied by Bombay's Clarence Lobo for the week long training to be held at AIS, Perth, Australia.

in 2009 October, the visiting Australian Foreign Minister Stephen Smith expressed concern at India's failure to qualify for the last Olympics. In order to help India reclaim in the sports, he announced starting next year, two players — a male and female — and a coach will get free training at the Institute of Sports and Hockey Facility in Perth.

He made this announcement after visiting under construction National Stadium in Delhi.
