BARC stun Khalsa Youth Academy (12/8/2009)

Monday, December 07, 2009: Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) upstaged youthful Khalsa Hockey Academy (Matunga) by 3-1 margin in the third division league match played at the MHA Mahindra Stadium Churchgate.

During the lemon break they were leading by 2-1 score, however it was Khalsa H.A who started on a bright note going up initially Maadvinder Singh dispatched into the wooden cage a well measured diagonal pass by Nilesh Khot from the axis in to very 4th minutes of the play time ( 1-0 ). Thereafter BARC rallied brilliantly to quell the youngsters of Khalsa H.A , their ace striker Jeetender Singh fired a brilliant brace ( 8th & 36th minutes ) while N.S.Bhamra chiped on into complete the tally for BARC.
